Marta trained as a yoga teacher in 2016, after feeling the benefits of yoga for her own wellness, and wanting to understand more about how we can promote our wellbeing through yoga. At around the same time she attended an Ayurvedic Yoga Massage workshop with Despina, and she realised that she prefers that level of communication with the client, the intimacy and mutual trust that is developed through the one to one sessions.
She also found AYM enjoyable and beneficial to give and receive, so in 2021 she finally decided to start her AYM therapist training, and she has since trained to AYM Level 4. Marta has also attended the AYM for pregnancy training, which gives us more techniques and options to work with pregnant and non pregnant clients. Marta is excited to be able to offer this work and is a keen student. She has been attending weekly mentorship sessions with Despina and always comes with lots of questions, she is always learning more and deepening her practice.. As we all should!

Marta explained everything, asked me few questions about my general health. The massage was very gentle, involved some stretching too, afterwards I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated.
