Workshop: back and shoulders

In this workshop we'll cover massaging the back and shoulders with the hands, and carrying out some relevant stretches. This is usually the beginning of the AYM sequence, as loosening up the areas around the spine will have a great impact on people’s ease of movement; and releasing the areas around the ribcage will help make breathing easier. Exactly how much we cover will depend on the group, as the pace will be adjusted to suit the participants. See the beginning of the AYM videos where Despina massages people’s backs with her hands.
